Henry Bloch

He’s the man. Henry W. Bloch is co-founder of the H&R Block tax empire and Bloch School benefactor (since 1986). But Henry is more than a benefactor, he is the role model for what we teach: He embodies the philosophy of working hard, generating wealth and success, and completing the continuum by giving back through philanthropy and social entrepreneurship.

New Building

21st century management education. The UMKC campus is the home to the new Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the manifestation of a $32 million gift from Bloch School benefactor Henry W. Bloch. The purpose-built facility is a model education facility with features unrivaled by any other business school in the world. The building is designed to align with teaching innovation that will further elevate Bloch as a world leader in training future generations of entrepreneurial leaders.
