Study Abroad
Studying abroad is one of the best paths to increasing global and intercultural awareness, developing self confidence in unfamiliar settings, and distinguishing yourself to potential employers.
There are many opportunities for Bloch School students to study abroad:
Enroll in Business Schools in Europe or Mexico for a semester or a summer:
Bloch School undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to study abroad for credit. Students may study for a semester, an academic year or in a special summer program at business schools in Europe. The Bloch School works with the Center for International Academic Programs to maintain bilateral exchange agreements with business schools in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Mexico.
Join a short term Bloch School Study Abroad program:
The Center for International Business also sponsors undergraduate and graduate study abroad courses between semesters. In 2008, the Bloch School is sponsoring four exciting classes!
Each includes coursework on the UMKC campus during March and April and a one week international residency in Asia or Europe during May or June. The four classes are designed around:
