Three organizations (Midwest
Center for Nonprofit Leadership of the University of Missouri – Kansas
City, Council on Philanthropy (COP), and the Executive
Service Corps of Greater Kansas City (ESC))
in Kansas City have
formed a collaborative partnership to conduct this survey – the only one
of its kind in Kansas City. By including up-to-date, comprehensive data
regarding salaries and benefits of Kansas City nonprofit professionals,
this resource will prove invaluable in demonstrating how your agency’s
compensation practices compare to those of similar agencies in Kansas
City.
Here’s the important part. Your
participation is essential. In order for the 2008 Salary and Benefits
Survey to achieve the highest level of accuracy, all Kansas City
agencies must participate in the survey. Please take the time to
download, complete and submit the survey (instructions below).
Your responses should reflect salary and
benefit information as of your most recent payroll in June, 2008. We
know you are busy, and time is a precious commodity to you. However, we
also know that the success of the final report and, therefore, its
ultimate utility as a reliable resource for Kansas City nonprofit
professionals like you depends upon your agency’s active and timely
involvement.
All completed surveys will go directly
to the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership at UMKC for processing
and analysis. No other agencies will have access to your survey
information. To encourage candor, all responses will be held in
strictest confidence by the research team of the Midwest Center for
Nonprofit Leadership. Your responses, and the responses of your
colleagues, will be aggregated and reported in a non-identifying manner
in the survey report, which will be available in the Fall (Ordering
information is listed below).
Please complete your survey by September 10, 2008.
