Strong faculty with substantial experience in corporate consulting are recognized thought leaders in their area of expertise. For example, the following faculty are actively involved with Bloch professional education programs:

Mark Parry, Ph.D., Ewing Marion Kauffman/Missouri Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Professor of Marketing, leads innovation. Parry is an internationally known and respected scholar who has won numerous awards for his research. Parry has long-standing experience designing executive programs and modules dealing with marketing strategy, pricing and the launching of new products and he teaches and consults with international corporations.

Lee Bolman, Ph.D., Marion Bloch/Missouri Endowed Chair in Leadership, leads leadership. Bolman is the author of several management books that are seminal texts at universities across the country, including Leading with Soul and Reframing Organizations. Bolman consults worldwide to corporations, public agencies, universities and schools.

Karyl Leggio, Ph.D., Chair of the Finance, Information Management and Strategy Department, Associate Professor of Finance, and Executive Director of the Executive MBA, leads financial literacy. Leggio has been awarded numerous grants for her research projects, as well as being awarded for her teaching. Her research is presented both nationally and internationally. Leggio led the transformation of the Bloch Executive MBA program that resulted in a forward-looking new curriculum, doubled enrollment, and new corporate sponsors.

Dave Renz, Ph.D., Beth K. Smith/Missouri Chair in Nonprofit Leadership, Director of the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership, brings his popular board development training to the Sprint Campus and Hallmark Headquarters to prepare executives and executive-track managers to be effective and informed board leaders.

Doranne Hudson, executive-in-residence, visiting instructor, leads organizational influence and political savvy and influence. Hudson brings 22 years of marketing and general management experience from her senior leadership roles at The Gillette Company and Hallmark Cards. Hudson’s current research interests include power and influence, emotional intelligence in leader effectiveness, and leadership values in innovative companies, and she consults and conducts workshops on these topics.
