Fees & Financial AidPaying for college is an important part of your decision-making process. There are many things you need to factor in, including tuition, residency (Missouri or out-of-state), fees, the cost of books, and much more. But help is out there, and it comes in many forms: federal loans, scholarships, and grants.
UMKC Tuition and FeesFees for coursework vary with the number of hours of enrollment; your undergraduate, graduate or professional school status; the term of enrollment; and the applicability of any special fees. This link will take you to more information on fees and payment schedules.
Graduate studentsThere is no 'metro rate' for graduate students. However, if you are a part time student (which means one class (3 credit hours) to two classes (6 credit hours) in fall and spring semesters, and one class in summer semester), you will pay in-state tuition regardless of your residency*. UMKC’s School of Graduate Studies has several very attractive fellowships. Click here for more information and applications.
UMKC Financial AidUMKC has an entire department devoted to nothing but helping you pay for school. Our Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is your partner.
