UMKC - The Bloch School

BSA

Successful Bloch School accounting students can be confident that their studies will lead to a rewarding career. Well-trained accountants have always been an asset to any business or enterprise, and with legislation such as Sarbanes-Oxley, accountants are even more in demand today. Bloch faculty have extensive experience in both public and private accounting. Each faculty member has earned a Ph.D. and is engaged in active research in his or her chosen field. They have been recognized with numerous awards for excellence in teaching.

BSA students often go on to complete their Master of Science in Accounting in just 30 additional credit hours.

I really enjoy the quantitative classes at Bloch. I have had a blast in my Business Information Systems and finance classes.

And I like the diversity of the student body at Bloch-- there are older second-career people and young adults from different backgrounds.
